Hi! I’m Sarah Prince, a Toronto-based writer who has worked with iconic brands and stars, including Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift.
I love sharing what’s hot in pop culture and meeting icons IRL, whether they’re a celebrity or CEO. I’ve conducted 50+ interviews, including The Wiggles (400K+ YouTube views total). My articles often rank on Google’s first page, such as Madonna, Pink and Shania Twain concert reviews. From major publications to a TV commercial, I’ve been featured all over – see my highlights in the media!
Hot On The Street started as a magazine assignment in Grade 6. The name was partly inspired by Paris Hilton’s catchphrase “That’s Hot!” In Grade 10, I created a special French edition called Chaud Sur La Rue and in Grade 12, it focused on Canadian entertainment. MTV’s The Hills inspired me to launch a blog in 2010.
In the words of a New York Times personality quiz, I’m a tech and entertainment junkie who likes “to keep at least one finger on the pulse of everything that’s hot.” According to Spotify, I’m an early adopter who’s “always seeking the next hot thing.”

Since launching my marketing career at Canadian Tire, I’ve worked with major consumer and tech brands on both the corporate and agency side. While promoting Kim Kardashian: Hollywood at EA, I earned my own video game character as the publicist Kalinda King. King is like Prince with a K!
