Met this super hot British guy on my holiday! You might know him as Mr. Napkinhead or Jude Law.
It was an amazing opportunity to meet Jude Law as we approach the 20th anniversary of The Holiday movie. This was Jude Law’s first time at a fan convention and my first time at MEGACON Orlando.
He’s incredibly charming in The Holiday and thought provoking in other movies I’ve enjoyed like Gattica and Contagion. Contagion was top of mind as I navigated through large crowds to meet him at the Orange County Convention Center. It’s wild how he starred in a movie about a potential pandemic years before COVID. Thankfully I’m back in Toronto and didn’t get sick on my trip!
As I turned the corner and saw him for the first time, his outfit made me so happy and I loved the colours. I liked how he paired a neutral white bomber jacket with a beige shirt and dark green pants. I only bought three green shirts in Orlando after the event!
The photo ops are quick and it’s hard to anticipate your brief encounters. I hoped he would smile in our picture, but the way he posed was such a cool guy thing to do. Jude Law may have starred in one of the greatest rom-coms of all time, but he’s better known for serious roles.
At 52, Jude Law’s Hollywood career shows no signs of slowing down. His latest movie The Order and series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew were critical successes. I’m sure he has more hits on the way.
It’s tempting to say he made me feel like Cameron Diaz, but I really felt like a confident version of myself. I got my own glam ahead of the event at Blo Blow Dry Bar and felt great!
