Can you believe I never went to Hollywood until now? I went to Disneyland and the beach when I was 5, but never saw anything celebrity related in LA. After spending 6 years with Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, I finally got to see the real thing!
The trip wouldn’t have been complete without a meet and greet. I discovered Sarah Ramos when she played Haddie Braverman on Parenthood. During the pandemic, you may have watched the popular reenactment videos she posted on Instagram starring herself.
When Sarah was young, she met Mary-Kate and Ashley on a celebrity cruise and then pursued meet and greets as she got older like me. She told me she met most of them through her career as an actress.
Thankfully, I was able to visit Sarah’s Autograph Hound exhibit at Junior High in Glendale. One wall featured Sarah’s meet and greet photos and another wall featured Sarah’s fans’ meet and greet photos with other celebrities. I wasn’t sure if I would be able to attend, otherwise I would have submitted my own photos!
The exhibit also featured Sarah’s creative work, such as her podcast and illustrations of her Parenthood cast. Lauren Graham played her aunt and I think Lauren is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever met. This was the first time I said that to someone who actually knows her!
Through the power of Instagram Stories, I managed to see Sarah Ramos IRL an hour before Autograph Hound closed. I’ve grown up with many other girls named Sarah, but she’s one of the coolest I’ve met aside from Sarah Dessen. I appreciated her taking the time to chat, as well as agreeing to re-take our picture.
I would love to have my own exhibit like Autograph Hound someday, but it would probably be more of a birthday or blog anniversary party than an art gallery. I would definitely have enough content to display!
