There are many tutorials on the web to help you develop your food photography skills, but don’t you wish you could have one-on-one training? If you want to combine your Instagram obsession with a lust for travel, then you’re in luck! Now there’s a special restaurant in Israel where someone will teach you at your table.

The Carmel Winery partnered with the restaurant Catit to create a one of a kind dining experience for social media lovers. Not only does the food look scrumptious, but the plates were custom designed to include phone stands to ensure diners can take the perfect shot. Plus, spinning plates are available to help you find the right angle. Unlike many restaurants that use mood lighting to create an intimate setting that inevitably ruins food photos, the lighting was designed with food photography in mind. No detail was overlooked.

World renowned photographer Dan Perez also leads workshops at the winery to help diners advance their skills, which explains why the cost of this incredible dining experience is $155 per hour. Diners who partake in a special meal can compare photos using the hashtag #fdgr.

The concept is a great way for the winery and restaurant to connect with young diners and raise their profile on an international scale, as their Instagram plates are now a viral sensation. Apparently they have plans to go global and take this idea on the road, so let’s hope it comes to North America!
