I don’t always wear my glasses, but they were a mandatory accessory when I went to Dan Levy’s party at Jonathan+Olivia. When MTV Canada’s The After Show was on air, Jessi Cruickshank stood out as a redhead, while Dan Levy’s distinguishing characteristic was his glasses.
Last summer, Dan launched the D.L. Eyewear line and last week, he hosted a special trunk show at Jonathan+Olivia. The timing coincidentally coincided with Jessi’s birthday! While guests sipped Peroni, Dan reunited with high school friends and mingled with guests, including Lainey Lui. Dan’s Degrassi co-star Lauren Collins, who I recognized from Life with Derek, made an appearance too. It was quite a #ThrowbackThursday, Family Channel style.
Though Dan is known for being Eugene Levy’s son, I didn’t expect him to make an appearance, so that was an incredible surprise! While chatting about comedy, Eugene hinted that the American Pie franchise is done. Now he’s looking forward to sharing his new TV show Schitt’s Creek with fans, which will debut on CBC in the winter.
